‘DC Power 2024’ Anthology Celebrates Black History Month

The second annual DC Power anthology returns with a new edition for 2024 featuring Black writers, artists, and heroes.

DC Power 2024 opens with an introduction by Cyborg writer Morgan Hampton and is headlined by an epilogue to the Hugo award-winning Far Sector by N.K. Jemisin and Jamal Campbell, which shows the first meeting between Green Lanterns Sojourner “Jo” Mullein and John Stewart.   

The 104-page prestige format comic includes work by writers John Ridley, Brandon Thomas, Lamar Giles, Shawn Martinbrough, Cheryl Lynn Eaton, and Alitha Martinez, and artists Edwin Galmon, Khary Randolph, Denys Cowan, Tony Akins, Asiah Fulmore, and more.

Stories spotlight Kid Flash (Wallace West), Mr. Terrific, Black Manta, The Signal, The Spectre (Crispus Allen), Thunder and Lightning (Anissa and Jennifer Pierce), Bloodwynd, Val-Zod, the Superman of Earth-2, and Nubia.

DC Power 2023 sold out and had to go back to press for a second printing. This year’s anthology will go on sale on January 30.
