Learn All About the ‘The Origin of Plastic Man’ in New DC Finest Edition

Jack Cole’s original Golden Age Plastic Man tales are collected in the new DC Finest: The Origin of Plastic Man trade paperback.

The stories in the collection (ranging from 1941 to 1944) include Police Comics #1-36 and Plastic Man #1-2, all written and illustrated by Cole.

Eel O’Brien transforms from a slippery gangster into an odd ball hero after a chemical spill grants him elastic powers beyond belief.

Plastic Man was not a DC character at the start of his super hero career. The madcap character was actually published by Quality Comics, before being acquired by DC Comics when Quality Comics shut down in 1956.

DC Finest: Plastic Man: The Origin of Plastic Man consists of 584 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
