‘DC Finest: Superman: Time and Time Again’ Explores Early 1990’s Superman Comics

Travel through time with Superman and back to the start of the Triangle Era in the latest DC Finest Collection.

Superman: Time and Time Again includes Superman #49-56, The Adventures of Superman #472-479, Action Comics #659-666, and Starman #28

All stories are written by Jerry Ordway, James D. Hudnall, Roger Stern, Louise Simonson, and Dan Jurgens, with art by Ordway, Jurgens, Dennis Janke, Brett Breeding, Kerry Gammill, Curt Swan, John Byrne, Ed Hannigan, Willie Blyberg, Dave Hoover, Scott Hanna, Art Thibert, and Bob McLeod.

Highlights include the aforementioned time travel adventure, perpetrated by the mysterious Linear Man, sending Superman back to the prehistoric age, forward to the 30th century (with the Legion of Super Heroes), and plenty of time periods in between and “Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite”, where Mr. Mxyzptlk offers a dying Lex Luthor the gift of red Kryptonite, which inadvertently turns the Man of Steel turns into a normal human.

The collection also marks the beginning of the Triangle Era numbering system across all the Super-Titles, which gave Superman fans weekly doses of the original superhero.

DC Finest: Superman: Time and Time Again consists of 600 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
