‘DC Finest: Justice League of America: The Bridge Between Earths’ Highlights Classic JLA/JSA Silver Age Action

The new Justice League of America: The Bridge Between Worlds DC Finest edition takes readers back to the Silver Age of Comics for plenty of JLA and JSA action.

The Bridge Between Worlds collects Justice League of America #45-72 written by Gardner Fox and Denny O’Neil, with art by Mike Sekowsky, Dick Dillin, Frank Giacoia, Joe Giella, Sid Greene, Bernard Sachs, and George Roussos.

The Justice League (consisting of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Martian Manhunter) bridge the gap between Earth-1 and Earth-2 and team-up and oppose the Golden Age’s Justice Society of America, and also take on Shaggy Man, Solomon Grundy, Blockbuster, Anti-Matter Man, Felix Faust, the Lord of Time, The Royal Flush Gang, Doctor Destiny, T.O. Morrow, and the Creeper.

The League also gets some help from compatriots the Elongated Man, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Red Tornado, Robin, and Batgirl in stories that were initially published from 1966 to 1969.

DC Finest: Justice League of America: The Bridge Between Worlds consists of 616 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
