Marvel Comics wasn’t the only company focusing on team-up books in the Bronze Age of Comics, as evidenced by the first DC Finest: Team-Ups Collection titled Chase to the End of Time.
DC Finest’s Chase to the End of Time features team-up stories from DC Comics Presents #1-14 and The Brave and the Bold #141-155. Many of the issues have never been reprinted before.
All stories are written by Martin Pasko, David Michelinie, Len Wein, Paul Levitz, Steve Englehart, Cary Bates, Bob Haney, Cary Burkett, and Mike W. Barr, with art by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Murphy Anderson, Curt Swan, Dick Dillin, Joe Staton, Richard Buckler, Jim Aparo, Romeo Tanghal, Dan Adkins, Francisco Chiaramonte, Jack Abel, Dick Giordano, Dick Giordano, and Frank McLaughlin.
DC Comics Presents started as the Man of Steel’s team-up showcase, putting Superman with The Flash (the two-part title story), Adam Strange, Metal Men, Aquaman, Green lantern, Red Tornado, Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman, Sgt. Rock, Hawkman, Mister Miracle, the Legion of Super Heroes, and the Atom.
Batman teams with Black Canary, Aquaman, the Creeper, Green Arrow, Phantom Stranger, The Unknown Soldier, Supergirl, Plastic Man, the Teen Titans, the Flash, the Atom, Red Tornado, Metamorpho, and Green Lantern throughout The Brave and the Bold issues featured in the collection.
