Mark Russell and Ben Caldwell’s 2015 Prez: Setting a Dangerous President six-issue series returns for another election year in 2024.
DC is re-releasing Russell’s first work for the company in new graphic novel edition on June 4, with a new original story from Russell and Caldwell, a short story from the 2016 Catwoman: Election Night one-shot, and the original Prez Sneak Peek from 2015’s “DC You” campaign.
Prez: Setting a Dangerous President is a riff on Joe Simon and Jerry Grandenetti’s oddball teen age president comic from 1973, although this time the teen in question is viral star Beth Ross (famous for getting her hair caught in a deep fryer).
Prez: Setting a Dangerous President was previously released as a graphic novel collection in 2016.
