Dark Horse Comics will publish a new two-volume The Art of Star Wars: A New Hope—The Manga in 2026, but they are also planning to launch their first Kickstarter campaign for the Star Wars manga collection in 2025.
The edition will spotlight Hisao Tamaki’s original art from the 1997 Dark Horse manga adaptation of Star Wars: A New Hope with a new English translation.
The Kickstarter will be available in two distinct editions: a Collector’s Edition that features the same two-volume hardcovers that will be available at bookstores and comic shops with Kickstarter exclusive covers and a Masterpiece Edition which includes the two volumes reproduced in their original size and an auxiliary third volume.
The Kickstarter campaign will run from September 16 to October 17 and can be accessed right here.
