Dark Horse Comics Announces ‘Stranger Things’ Halloween Special

Just because a new season of Stranger Things isn’t launching on Netflix this fall doesn’t mean that fans can’t look forward to a special Halloween story featuring the gang from the show. Dark Horse Comics announced today that they will be publishing a Stranger Things Halloween Special One-Shot just in time for everyone’s favorite night of treats and frights!

Comic Book reports that the special issue will serve as a prequel to Season One of Stranger Things, and it will take place just before Will Byers mysteriously disappears from Hawkins. The book features the creative team of Michael Moreci (Wasted Space), Todor Hristov (The Forever Maps), Chris O’Halloran (Ice Cream Man) and Nate Piekos.

It turns out that the demogorgon wasn’t the start of Will, Mike, Dustin, and Luke’s problems, as the Halloween special will tell the story of the boys’ encounter with something terrible, known only as the Child-Eater of Hawkins.

The Stranger Things Halloween Special One-Shot will arrive in comic stores on October 21st, 2020. Stay tuned to Conskipper for complete coverage of all things Stranger Things as soon as it breaks!
