Alex Vede’s original graphic novel, Riptide, will be available in a new Dark Horse, English-language edition this summer.
Vede’s Riptide takes place during the Cold War era and introduces readers to NARWAL, a secretive organization interested in exploring a lost advanced underwater civilization. Their intentions, as judged by protagonist Max, may be beneficial to humanity, but destructive to the people living under the sea.
Before Riptide, Dark Horse Books will publish Vede’s brand new graphic novel Yucatan 1512 on May 20.
The Riptide paperback consists of 240 pages with a suggested retail price of $24.99.
Look for Riptide at your local comic shop on August 20 and check out the cover below.
