The first of Marvel’s new Modern Era Epic Collections starring Captain America contains Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting’s award winning Winter Soldier storyline.
The story that reintroduced the long thought dead Bucky Barnes from 2005 to 2006 is the star of the show in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier Epic Collection, collecting Captain America #1-17 (including the additional material from the Director’s Cut version of issue one) and the Captain America 65th Anniversary Special.
In addition to Epting, the collection also includes art by Michael Lark, John Paul Leon, Tom Palmer, Mike Perkins, Javier Pulido, Marcos Martin, Lee Weeks, and Jesse Delperdang.
The espionage filled tale that would go to inspire Marvel’s cinematic Captain America: Winter Soldier film consists of 472 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
