Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez’s Debut Issue of ‘Justice League’ Will Feature ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ Variant Covers

March is shaping up to be a fruitful month for fans of the Justice League. Not only will Zack Snyder’s Justice League finally see the light of day on HBO Max, but March also brings a new all-star creative team to DC Comics flagship title in issue #59 of Justice League.

To celebrate all things Justice League in March, the film and comic world will unite in Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez’s first issue with a selection of variant covers by Jim Lee, Lee Bermejo, and Liam Sharp featuring artwork inspired by the upcoming film. Lee’s cover also gives fans the first glimpse of what Martian Manhunter J’onn J’onzz will look like in Snyder’s extra-long version of his film (clocking in at over four hours in length).

Bendis and Marquez’s new team line-up will consist of Superman, Batman, the Flash, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Hippolyta, Naomi, and Black Adam.

Justice League #59 goes on sale March 16, 2021 and Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on HBO Max on two days later on March 18, 2021.
