Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev reunite for another tale of adventure and intrigue in Dark Horse Comics and Jinxworld’s Masterpiece.
Bendis and Maleev will be joined by colorist Ian Herring and letter Josh Reed on the new six-issue mini-series, slated for release in December.
The story involves a brilliant 16-year-old girl named Emma (aka “Masterpiece”) who is approached about one of her new inventions by one of those typical odd-ball billionaires who reveals to Emma that she is the only daughter of two arch criminals.
Said billionaire, by the name of Zero Preston, was one of those ripped off by her parents and when Preston realizes that Emma doesn’t have his money, he instead decides to employ her, her friends, and some of her parent’s old associates to pull off an even bigger heist.
The first issue will arrive with some notable variant covers by artists Tula Lotay and Peach Momoko ( a 1:10 incentive variant for comics retailers).
