Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s ‘Paper Girls’ Collected in New Backpack Edition

Five-time Eisner Award winning series Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang gets a new look with the upcoming release of the Paper Girls Backpack Editions.

The manga-sized trade paperbacks (6″ x 9″) will also feature new cover artwork by Chiang.

“I remain so proud of what my friends and I did with this series,” said Vaughan. “And these gorgeous ‘Backpack’ editions are a great way to introduce this emotional young adult adventure to your loved ones, or to rediscover new details from our twisty time-travel tale for yourself.”

Paper Girls Backpack Edition Volume One will collect issues #1-10 and will be released on October 29. Paper Girls Backpack Edition Volume Two will be available in 2026.

If you can’t wait until then, the series is currently available in trade paperback, deluxe hardcover, and compendium edition.
