Even though there is still much speculation about how the remaining slate of films from Warner Bros. Pictures and DC will fit into James Gunn’s new reboot of the studio, the long discussed Blue Beetle trailer has arrived.
Blue Beetle, directed by Angel Manuel Soto, stars Xolo Maridueña as the latest hero to carry the mantle of the Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes. Reyes naturally comes into contact with the Scarab (which looks decidedly painful in the trailer) gaining the use of some highly advanced and deadly alien technology.
Blue Beetle also stars Adriana Barraza, George Lopez, Susan Sarandon, Damían Alcázar, Elpidia Carrillo, Bruna Marquezine, Raoul Max Trujillo, Belissa Escobedo, and Harvey Guillén.
