After playing an integral role in Jason Aaron’s recent Avengers run, Blade, the Daywalker, is back on the solo beat in an all-new ongoing solo series by Bryan Hill and Elena Casagrande this July.
Blade’s first story arc begins when he mistakenly unleashes a a new supernatural threat to the Marvel Universe by the name of Adana.
Hill said “Blade is a treasured character for me. Here, we have an opportunity to explore his history, reveal new aspects of his world and create a story that’s brutal, sexy, and bold as it travels into the world of monsters and magic.”
Blade #1 arrives on July 19 with a whopping 10 covers to choose from, including a blood red blank variant for convention sketches.
