Marvel Celebrates 60 Years of T’Challa in New ‘Black Panther 60th Anniversary Special’

The Black Panther celebrates 60 years of his comic history in the new Black Panther 60th Anniversary Special.

The giant-size comic (in stores on February 18) includes four new stories by four different creative teams including the return of Christopher Priest (along with artist Javier Pina) to the character he reestablished in the late 1990s in a story about T’Challa’s encounter with Magneto.

Evan Narcisse and George Jeanty’s provide a framing story for the anthology, in a tale involving former Black Panther Kasper Cole searching for Wakanda’s exiled king.

Other stories include ones by Murewa Ayodele and Eder Messias involving Storm and T’Challa and Cody Ziglar and Alitha E. Martinez’s Black Panther/Blue Marvel team-up, as well as other surprises.
