If you’ve never understood why everyone brags about Batman: The Animated Series being one of the best interpretations of the character in the caped crusader’s long history, HBO Max is about to give you the chance to become a believer.
On January 1, HBO Max (the new home of all DC Media) will release all 85 episodes of Batman: The Animated Series and all 52 episodes of the also well-reviewed futuristic take on the Dark Knight, Batman Beyond.
Both series will be available to stream to you heart’s content, so be sure that your New Year’s weekend schedule has been cleared.
A number of other animated DC feature films and live-action movies will also be added on January 1, with more coming throughout the month (and you can check out the full list from Warner Media right here).
HBO Max recently made all the classic Wonder Woman series (starring Lynda Carter) on the streaming service to coincide with the release of Wonder Woman 1984 (and you can read our in-depth review right here as well).
