‘Batman by Grant Morrison’ Book One Begins Chronological Collection of Morrison’s Run

Plenty of recent editions have been released featuring the Batman work of Grant Morrison, but DC has decided to begin a new series capturing all of the acclaimed writer’s work in chronological order.

The Batman by Grant Morrison Book One trade paperback collects Batman #655-658, #663-675, and Bat-related stories from 52 #30 and #47.

In addition to Morrison, Book One features writing by Geoff Johns, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid, and Chris Burnham, and art by Andy Kubert, Tony Daniel, J.H. Williams III, Ryan Benjamin, John Van Fleet, Keith Giffen, Joe Bennett, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Chris Burnham, Jesse Delperdang, Jonathan Glapion, Sandu Florea, Saleem Crawford, Mark Irwin, Ruy Jose, and Lorenzo Ruggiero.

Morrison’s run, which began in 2006, includes storylines such as “Batman and Son”, “The Three Ghosts of Batman”, and “Batman R.I.P. Prelude” in Book One.

DC recently released the Absolute Batman and Son hardcover collection which includes much of the same material as Batman by Grant Morrison Book One (but at a much higher price point).

The collection consists of 448 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
