Batman and Sandman Most Read Comics on DC Universe Infinite in 2022

Batman and Sandman titles dominated digital readership on DC Universe Infinite in 2022.

Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman #1 (1989) was the most read single issue on the digital service, no doubt helped by the release of Netflix’s adaptation of the series.

Batman and Batman-related comics took eight of the top ten spots in the single issue category, with Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1 (#3), Nightwing #78 (#4), Batman: Gotham Knights-Gilded City #1 (#5), DC vs Vampires #1 (#6), Batman ’89 #1 (#7), Batman #1 (2011) (#8), Batman #404 (1987) (#9), and Dark Knights of Steel #1 (#10) leading the way.

Batman was also well represented in the most read series category, with six series from various eras of Batman, Detective Comics, and Nightwing taking top spots (#2-7 in fact).

Video game tie-ins also did well. Along with the aforementioned Batman/Fortnite comic, Injustice: Gods Among Us (by Tom Taylor) finished as the most read series of 2022 (which also starred Batman, naturally).
