While there are many that will schedule the apocalypse on a variety of days throughout 2023, TCM’s cinematic apocalypse will take place on January 23, with a wide variety of films featuring different takes on the end of civilization.
The final festivities begin with the second gonzo I Am Legend adaptation, The Omega Man at 8:00 PM), followed by Stanley Kramer’s nuclear holocaust On the Beach (10:00 PM), the false utopia of Logan’s Run (12:30 AM), the savage, realistic No Blade of Grass (2:45 AM), and aptly titled sci-fi B-movie World Without End (4:30 AM).
