Katsuhiro Otomo’s game-changing manga Akira is now available in a new hardcover collection from Kodansha.
The Akira Vol. 1 hardcover collection features the original right-to-left manga reading format and Otomo’s original, hand-drawn sound effects.
The new hardcover also features the updated translation and lettering from the 35th Anniversary Edition box set (which is now available in single volumes, starting with Akira Vol. 1).
The 7″x10″ hardcover consists of 368 pages for a suggested retail price of $34.99.
