‘Sons of Appalachia’ Continue ‘Mountain Monsters’ Legacy with New YouTube Series

Mountain Monsters may be no more, but three members of the former A.I.M.S team continue the monster hunting tradition in their new Sons of Appalachia YouTube series.

The first episode of Sons of Appalachia debuted on July 16 and can be viewed right here.

The SOA Team consists of Joseph “Huckleberry” Lott, Jacob “Buck” Lowe, and William “Wild Bill” Neff, and the trio continue to hunt for cryptid creatures and engage in their famous backwoods hijinks in the new series.

The official description from YouTube invites viewers to “Join Buck, Huckleberry, and Wild Bill — as seen on the hit show Mountain Monsters — as they dive deeper into the untamed heart of the Appalachian region and mysteries from their past. From hidden relics and ancient folklore to chilling encounters and backwoods investigations, this channel uncovers the secrets that have haunted these men and the mountains for generations.”

The SOA crew is also going the crowdfunding route to help get the series off and running, and currently have an Indiegogo campaign to cover some of the costs. Perks include early access to episodes, video shout-outs, signed pictures, and more.

Former Mountain Monster cast members Willy McQuillian and Jeff “Jeffro” Headlee are not a part of the new series.
