The first X-Men crossover event collection returns this December, as the X-Men: Mutant Massacre Omnibus will once again be available for purchase.
Besides the lead-up to “Inferno”, the reprinted omnibus also contains all of the mutant-led installments in Marvel’s 1988 Annual crossover, “The Evolutionary War”, as well as appearances by the Brood, various stooges from Genosha, Apocalypse’s Celestial ship, and Infectia.
When Marvel first created an anthology called X-Men Legends, it was only a matter of time before the writer most associated with the title, Chris Claremont, returned to expand on his already voluminous work with the world-famous mutants.
Chris Claremont’ reunion with the man that he co-created the new X-Men with, artist Dave Cockrum, is the main attraction in the latest X-Men Epic Collection entitled I, Magneto.
The Manga-sized collections start with volumes dedicated to the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and The X-Men, with more on the way.
