This week’s picks include the end of a Superman era, the return of the Black Cat and Taarna, and sequels to two fan-favorite and critical hits, one based on Blade Runner and the other based in the foundations of the original super hero.
The new series is set ten years before Titan’s Blade Runner 2019 comic and will follow the events that lead up to the creation of the Blade Runner division, referencing the world, characters and events first seen in Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.
While licensing rights to the movie have been notoriously impossible to obtain, the company has somehow done it and will soon bring the likes of Rick Deckard, Roy Batty, Rachel, and Pris to their popular figurine format.
Between its expert handling of the source material, its downright gorgeous set design and cinematography, and its incredible performances, the film is a bona fide masterpiece which is more than worthy of the Blade Runner name.
