Marvel’s trailer and artwork for the event seem to indicate a less radical concept with current Avengers team of writer Jason Aaron and writer Ed McGuiness producing a story this May that reimagines a number of classic heroes in a different light, due to the disappearance of the Avengers from existence.
The new series, entitled Black Knight: Curse of the Ebony Blade, will see a reinvigorated Whitman explore his past and present, ranging from the fabled city of Camelot to 21st century New York City.
